Disclaimer

1.Educational Purpose Only

Aqoryn, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides all content and materials on the Aqoryn platform exclusively for educational and informational purposes. The platform is designed to facilitate academic preparation, bar examination readiness, and legal studies. This includes, without limitation, MBE-style practice questions, IRAC (Issue, Rule, Analysis, Conclusion) explanations, Why-Wrong analyses of incorrect answer choices, essay model answers, comprehensive study guides, responses generated by Qendrixa AI Study Coach, case briefs, cold-call simulations, drafting lab exercises, micro-lesson videos from the "Legal Terminology Made Simple" library, performance metrics, weak-area analyses, exam readiness assessments, study sequencing recommendations, and all other educational materials available through the platform (collectively, "Platform Content").

All Platform Content is created exclusively for the purpose of supporting your academic and bar examination preparation goals. The content is not intended, and should not be used, for any other purpose, including professional legal work, client advice, transactional drafting, or any other engagement with the platform outside the scope of educational bar preparation.

Aqoryn's educational content, particularly AI-generated features like Qendrixa™, is grounded in verified legal databases containing authenticated primary legal sources including court opinions and statutory texts. This sourcing from authoritative, verified caselaw repositories provides substantive legal grounding for the platform's educational materials.

2.Not Legal Advice

NOTHING ON THE AQORYN PLATFORM CONSTITUTES LEGAL ADVICE, LEGAL OPINION, LEGAL COUNSEL, OR LEGAL REPRESENTATION. The Platform Content, including educational materials, explanations of legal concepts, case analyses, model answers, and AI-generated responses, is created solely for educational illustration. Such content should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified, licensed attorney admitted to practice in your jurisdiction.

The law is complex, fact-sensitive, and jurisdiction-specific. Legal principles and doctrines discussed on Aqoryn may not reflect current law in your jurisdiction, may be subject to recent statutory changes or case developments, and may not address unique factual circumstances present in your particular legal situation. Any attempt to apply Platform Content to a real legal problem without consultation with a licensed attorney is undertaken at your own risk and is not recommended.

This educational content is meant to prepare you to take and pass bar examinations and law school courses. It is not meant to be relied upon for legal analysis in professional contexts. If you require legal advice, you should consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

3.No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your access to and use of the Aqoryn platform does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between you and Aqoryn, LLC, its founders, owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, or agents. No attorney-client privilege, work product protection, confidentiality obligation, fiduciary duty, or duty of representation arises from your use of the platform, your submission of information through the platform, or your interaction with Aqoryn staff, Qendrixa AI, or any other feature of the platform.

You understand that Aqoryn is an educational technology company providing bar examination preparation services, not a law firm. Aqoryn is not licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction, and no one associated with Aqoryn (whether employees, contractors, or AI systems) is acting as your attorney unless a separate, written engagement agreement has been executed.

Any communications you make through the platform, including messages to support staff, study questions submitted to Qendrixa AI, or essay responses uploaded for feedback, are not privileged and may be reviewed, stored, and processed by Aqoryn for quality improvement, support, and educational purposes.

4.AI-Generated Content and Hallucination Risk

THIS IS CRITICAL: AQORYN USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS POWERED BY ANTHROPIC'S CLAUDE API. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT ERRORS, INCLUDING FABRICATED CASE CITATIONS, INACCURATE LEGAL HOLDINGS, AND INCORRECT LEGAL RULES. YOU MUST INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

Aqoryn uses Anthropic's Claude artificial intelligence API to power multiple platform features, including but not limited to: Qendrixa AI Study Coach (personalized study recommendations and conversational tutoring), Case Brief Generator (automated case law summarization), Cold-Call Simulator (practice responses to hypothetical fact patterns), essay feedback and scoring, study plan recommendations, weak-area analysis, and progress metric generation.

Large Language Models (LLMs) like Claude are trained on vast datasets and generate text based on statistical patterns in their training data. While powerful, LLMs are prone to "hallucination" — the generation of plausible-sounding but false, fabricated, or inaccurate information. AI-generated content on the Aqoryn platform may contain:

  • Fabricated case citations — citations to cases that do not exist or exist under different names, docket numbers, or jurisdictions
  • Incorrect holdings or legal rules — misstatement of case holdings, statutory language, or common law principles
  • Inaccurate dates and party names — errors in case citation details, decision dates, or parties to litigation
  • Outdated legal information — references to overruled cases, repealed statutes, or superseded legal standards
  • Misstatements of state or federal law — errors specific to particular jurisdictions
  • Errors in legal reasoning — flawed analysis, logical fallacies, or incorrect application of legal rules

You must independently verify ALL AI-generated content against official primary sources before relying on it for any purpose, including bar exam preparation, law school study, or professional legal work. Authoritative sources for verification include:

  • Official reporter systems (e.g., U.S. Reports, Federal Reporter, state official reporters)
  • Court websites and official PACER filings
  • Legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, Google Scholar)
  • Official statutory databases and legislative websites
  • Restatements of Law published by the American Law Institute
  • Uniform Model Acts and Official Comments

Aqoryn's "Verification Shield" protocol indicates AI-generated content that should be cross-referenced with official primary sources. Even without explicit Verification Shield marking, all AI-generated content should be independently verified.

Aqoryn accesses verified legal databases containing authenticated court opinions, statutory texts, and authoritative legal sources. While the platform sources from these comprehensive caselaw repositories, users should verify critical information with current primary sources for professional use. For law school courses and bar examination preparation, you should supplement Aqoryn with authoritative legal research tools provided by your law school or bar preparation provider.

5.No NCBE Affiliation

Aqoryn's MBE-style practice questions are original works of authorship created by Aqoryn content developers. Aqoryn is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, licensed by, or in any way sponsored by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). Aqoryn does not reproduce, distribute, or adapt questions from official NCBE examinations or materials.

References to the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), Multistate Performance Test (MPT), Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE), Uniform Bar Examination (UBE), and NextGen Bar Exam are made for identification and educational context only. These terms are used to indicate the subject matter, format, or subject areas covered by our educational content, not to suggest any affiliation, endorsement, or license from NCBE.

Aqoryn is not endorsed or sponsored by any competing bar preparation provider, including but not limited to Barbri, Themis, Quimbee, Kaplan, AdaptiBar, UWorld, or any other commercial bar examination preparation company. Aqoryn is an independent educational technology platform.

6.No Guarantee of Exam Results

While Aqoryn strives to provide comprehensive, high-quality educational materials designed to support effective bar examination and law school preparation, use of the platform does NOT guarantee any particular outcome, including:

  • Passing any bar examination, jurisdiction-specific bar exam, or repeater examination
  • Achieving any particular score on the MBE, MPT, MPRE, or other bar examination components
  • Academic success in law school courses or improvements in class rank
  • Improved grades or higher exam scores in law school courses
  • Admission to practice in any bar or professional licensing body
  • Career advancement, employment, or professional outcomes

Bar examination performance depends on many factors beyond platform use, including prior legal education, study effort, personal aptitude, jurisdiction-specific law, and examination conditions. Aqoryn's educational content is a tool to support your preparation, not a guarantee of success.

Aqoryn offers a Pass Guarantee program that provides extended platform access to users who do not achieve a passing score on their first bar examination attempt, subject to strict eligibility requirements detailed in the Refund Policy. The Pass Guarantee provides additional educational access only and does not constitute a financial refund, cash payment, or guarantee of future examination success.

7.AI Avatar Video Disclosure

The micro-lesson videos available in the "Legal Terminology Made Simple" library section of the Aqoryn platform are produced using AI-generated avatars created through HeyGen technology. The presenters visible in these videos are synthetic, computer-generated representations and are NOT real people, professors, licensed attorneys, or legal experts.

These AI-generated avatar videos are educational content designed to present legal concepts, terminology, and exam-preparation material in an engaging, accessible format. The educational content in these videos carries the same educational purpose and accuracy disclaimers as all other Platform Content. AI avatar videos are not intended to, and do not, create any professional attorney-client relationship or substitute for professional legal advice.

Users should be aware that while the videos are professionally produced and reviewed for accuracy, they represent AI-generated presentations of legal concepts and should be treated as educational material, subject to all disclaimers regarding AI-generated content accuracy and the need for independent verification.

8.Performance Metrics Disclaimer

Aqoryn's platform displays various performance metrics, analyses, and predictive tools, including but not limited to: progress metrics, percentile rankings relative to other Aqoryn users, Exam Readiness Scores, weak-area analyses identifying subject areas needing improvement, study sequencing recommendations, bar passage predictions, and Global Rankings. These metrics are generated using Aqoryn's proprietary methodologies, statistical models, and AI analysis.

These performance metrics, rankings, and predictions are provided for INFORMATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. They are not:

  • Official academic evaluations or credentials
  • Validated psychometric instruments or assessments
  • Predictive guarantees of bar examination performance or academic success
  • Endorsed by any law school, bar examiner, or accrediting body
  • Comparable to official exam scores, official academic records, or bar examination results
  • Sufficient alone to determine readiness for bar examination or professional practice

Performance metrics are based on your activity and quiz performance on the Aqoryn platform only and do not account for all variables affecting bar examination success. You should not make decisions regarding bar examination registration, exam timing, or career planning based solely on Aqoryn performance metrics. We recommend consulting with advisors at your law school, official bar examination preparation providers, and bar examiners in your jurisdiction.

9.Third-Party Content and Links

The Aqoryn platform may contain references, links, or citations to third-party websites, legal databases, publications, court filings, NCBE educational materials, or other external resources. Aqoryn does not control, review, approve, monitor, or endorse the content of third-party resources.

Aqoryn is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or appropriateness of third-party content. Third-party websites and resources may change, become unavailable, be relocated, or change their terms of use. Your access to and use of third-party resources are subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of those third parties, not Aqoryn.

Links to external resources are provided for convenience and educational context. Inclusion of a link does not constitute endorsement of that resource or its content. You access all third-party resources at your own risk, and you should review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party site before providing personal information or using their services.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aqoryn, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Aqoryn platform or any feature thereof
  • Your reliance on any Platform Content, including AI-generated content, case analyses, or model answers
  • Errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or incompleteness of Platform Content
  • Examination outcomes, including failure to pass a bar examination or law school exam
  • Academic outcomes, including grades, class rank, or academic standing
  • Professional consequences, employment outcomes, or bar admission decisions
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of platform access or services
  • Technical issues, data loss, or interruption of service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of user data
  • Third-party conduct or content

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages. To the extent such limitation is not permitted in your jurisdiction, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) upon which damages are claimed.

11.Jurisdiction-Specific Disclaimers

While the Aqoryn platform includes content addressing federal law, uniform acts and model laws (such as the Uniform Commercial Code, Restatements of Law published by the American Law Institute, and common law principles applicable across multiple jurisdictions), many jurisdictions have state-specific statutes, case law, rules of practice, and bar examination requirements.

State-specific content available on Aqoryn, if any, is provided for general educational purposes and may not reflect:

  • The most current statutory amendments or legislative changes
  • Recent appellate decisions or changes in state case law
  • State-specific bar examination content requirements or updates
  • Local court rules, procedural requirements, or judicial ethics rules
  • State bar admission requirements, character and fitness standards, or licensing procedures

Users preparing for a specific state's bar examination have a responsibility to verify all state-specific content with official sources, including:

  • Your state's Board of Bar Examiners or state bar authority
  • Your state's official legislative and statutory databases
  • Official state court opinions and reporters
  • Your law school's bar preparation advising resources
  • Official bar preparation providers authorized by your state

Aqoryn does not represent that its content complies with or reflects the specific requirements of any particular state's bar examination. If you are preparing for a particular jurisdiction's bar exam, you should independently verify all jurisdiction-specific information through official channels.
