1. Overview

This Refund & Pass Guarantee Policy (the "Policy") governs all refunds, cancellations, plan changes, and the Pass Guarantee program for all Aqoryn subscription plans and digital product purchases. Aqoryn, LLC ("Aqoryn," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to transparency and fairness in our financial practices. This Policy applies to all subscribers and purchasers of Aqoryn digital content and services. By subscribing to or purchasing from Aqoryn, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. If you have questions or concerns regarding any aspect of this Policy, please contact our support team.

2. Subscription Plans

Aqoryn offers four subscription tiers designed to meet the needs of bar examination candidates at various stages of their preparation:

All paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis unless cancelled. Annual billing options may be available at discounted rates. Any annual pricing promotion will be clearly displayed at the time of subscription or upgrade. Payment methods accepted include all major credit and debit cards processed through Stripe.

3. Cancellation Policy

We respect your autonomy and have designed our cancellation process to be simple, transparent, and hassle-free. You may cancel your Aqoryn subscription at any time, effective immediately, without providing justification or explanation. Unlike many digital services, Aqoryn does not require phone calls, paper forms, or formal email requests—your cancellation is processed entirely through your account dashboard.

To cancel: Log in to your Aqoryn account, navigate to Account Settings or Billing, and click "Cancel Subscription." Your cancellation will be processed immediately.

4. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Aqoryn is confident in the quality and effectiveness of our bar examination preparation materials. To demonstrate this confidence and to reduce the risk for new subscribers, we offer a straightforward 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee for all new subscribers to any paid plan.

Eligibility: This guarantee applies only to new subscribers who are purchasing a paid Aqoryn subscription (Student Pro, Bar Warrior, or Elite) for the first time. You are eligible to request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of your initial charge being processed to your payment method.

How to Request a Refund: To request a refund under this guarantee, you must take the following steps within seven (7) calendar days of your initial charge:

Refund Processing: Upon receipt of your refund request, our support team will verify your eligibility based on the date of your initial charge. If eligible, we will process your refund within five (5) to ten (10) business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method you used for your subscription. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, it may take an additional three (3) to five (5) business days for the refund to appear in your account. Refunds are processed as credits to your original payment method; we do not issue refunds in alternative formats.

Scope of Guarantee: This 7-day guarantee applies ONLY to the first billing cycle of a new subscription. The following are explicitly excluded and NOT refundable under this guarantee:

5. General Refund Policy

Given the digital nature of Aqoryn's content and services, and the fact that our intellectual property (practice questions, essay prompts, study guides, video tutorials, and performance analytics) are made immediately available to you upon subscription activation, Aqoryn generally does NOT offer cash refunds beyond the 7-day money-back guarantee described in Section 4. Our digital products cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, as they are instantaneously consumed and cannot be repossessed or resold.

However, we recognize that exceptional circumstances may warrant refund consideration. Refunds beyond the 7-day guarantee may be considered at Aqoryn's sole and exclusive discretion in the following limited situations:

Any refund request claiming extraordinary circumstances must be submitted in writing to support@aqoryn.com within thirty (30) calendar days of the charge in question. Requests submitted after thirty (30) days will be denied, as we cannot verify the accuracy of claims regarding platform access or usage after extended periods. Aqoryn reserves the right to request additional documentation and to verify all claims independently.

6. The Aqoryn Pass Guarantee Program

A. Program Overview

The Aqoryn Pass Guarantee Program is an exclusive benefit offered to subscribers of our Bar Warrior and Elite plans. This program is designed to demonstrate our confidence in the effectiveness of our comprehensive bar examination preparation curriculum and to provide tangible support to subscribers who engage fully with our study program but do not achieve a passing score on their first bar examination attempt.

If an eligible subscriber does not pass the bar examination after completing the prescribed study program, Aqoryn will provide three (3) additional months of complimentary platform access at the subscriber's current tier level (Bar Warrior or Elite, as applicable) to assist with preparation for the next testing cycle.

IMPORTANT: THE PASS GUARANTEE IS NOT A CASH REFUND. The remedy under this program is three (3) months of free platform access only. This program does not provide a monetary refund, rebate, or credit toward alternative study materials.

B. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Pass Guarantee program, ALL of the following conditions must be satisfied. Aqoryn determines eligibility using internal platform data and records. Failure to meet even one of these requirements disqualifies you from the program.

(i) Active, Continuously Paid Subscription: You must have maintained an active, continuously paid Bar Warrior or Elite subscription for a minimum of four (4) consecutive calendar months immediately preceding your bar examination date. This means your subscription must not lapse, be cancelled, or be downgraded during this four-month period. If your subscription was paused, suspended, or temporarily cancelled for any reason, the four-month clock resets, and you must maintain continuous paid status for four additional consecutive months to regain eligibility. Annual billing options satisfy this requirement.
(ii) 100% MBE Question Bank Completion: You must complete 100% of the assigned state-specific Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) question bank for your selected jurisdiction. All practice questions provided in our MBE module must be attempted and answered. Skipping sections, questions, or subjects does not satisfy this requirement. We measure completion using our internal progress tracking system, which records every question attempted.
(iii) 75% Bar Essay Completion: You must complete at least 75% of the assigned bar essay practice questions for your selected jurisdiction. This includes timed essay practice, revised essays, and feedback-incorporated revisions. Partial attempts and abandoned essays count toward completion percentage. We measure this completion rate through our essay submission tracking system.
(iv) Readiness Score Threshold: You must achieve a Qendrixa Exam Readiness Score of 70% or higher on at least one occasion within the thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding your bar examination date. This score is generated by our proprietary assessment algorithm, which synthesizes your MBE practice performance, essay quality scores, and completion data. A single qualifying score anywhere within the 30-day window satisfies this requirement; you need not maintain this score continuously.
(v) Compliance with Platform Terms: During the entire eligibility period (the four months preceding your bar exam), your account must have no account suspensions, violations of our Terms of Service, or periods of inactivity exceeding 14 consecutive calendar days. Inactivity is measured as days during which you did not log into your Aqoryn account. Any account suspension, whether due to payment failure, Terms of Service violation, or other cause, disqualifies you from this program. Reinstatement of a suspended account does not restore Pass Guarantee eligibility.

C. Claims Process

To claim Pass Guarantee benefits, you must follow this process precisely. Claims submitted outside the specified timeline or without required documentation will be denied.

(i) Submission Deadline: You must contact Aqoryn within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving your official bar examination results from your state's Board of Bar Examiners. Email your claim to bar-support@aqoryn.com with the subject line "Pass Guarantee Claim - [Your Name]."
(ii) Required Documentation: Your claim email must include: (a) a legible copy of your official Notice of Results or score report issued by your state's Board of Bar Examiners (a photograph, scan, or digital copy is acceptable), and (b) the email address associated with your Aqoryn subscription account.
(iii) Verification Period: Upon receipt of your complete claim, Aqoryn will verify your eligibility using our internal platform records. Verification typically requires five (5) to ten (10) business days. We will cross-reference your account with our completion tracking system, subscription payment history, Qendrixa score records, and compliance data.
(iv) Notification and Activation: If your claim is approved, Aqoryn will send you a confirmation email. The three-month extension period begins on the date of our approval notification, not the date of your bar examination or the date you submitted your claim. Your subscription will remain at your current tier (Bar Warrior or Elite) at no charge for the full three-month period.
(v) Denial and Appeals: If your claim is denied, Aqoryn will provide a written explanation citing the specific eligibility requirement you did not meet. Denial decisions are final and are not subject to appeal. You may reapply only if circumstances change (for example, if you took the bar exam again and passed, or if you re-subscribe and later fail another bar attempt).

Aqoryn reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Pass Guarantee program at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion. Changes may include: raising eligibility thresholds, reducing the benefit duration, limiting the program to specific tiers, restricting program eligibility to particular jurisdictions, or terminating the program entirely.

Any material modifications to the Pass Guarantee program will be communicated to existing subscribers via email at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the effective date of the change. Existing claims in progress at the time of modification will not be affected by the change and will be adjudicated under the terms in effect when the claim was submitted. However, new claims submitted after the effective date of any modification will be governed by the modified terms.

7. Study Guide Purchases

In addition to our subscription plans, Aqoryn offers premium downloadable study guide PDFs available for individual purchase. These guides cover specialized topics, state-specific substantive law, and advanced strategy. Study guides are priced between fifteen ($15) and twenty dollars ($20) per guide and are sold as non-refundable digital products.

Refund Policy for Study Guides: Because study guides are immediate digital downloads that cannot be recovered or resold after purchase, they are generally non-refundable. However, we recognize that technical issues can occur. Refunds for study guides are available only in the following limited circumstances:

All refund requests for study guides must be submitted to support@aqoryn.com within seven (7) calendar days of purchase. Your email must include your original order confirmation and a clear explanation of the issue (e.g., "PDF will not open" or "received Tax Study Guide instead of Evidence Study Guide"). Requests submitted after seven (7) days will be denied. Buyer's remorse, change of mind, or a determination that the guide does not meet your needs do not qualify for refunds.

8. Plan Changes

We understand that your preparation needs may change. You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through your account dashboard.

Upgrades: If you upgrade to a higher-tier plan (e.g., from Student Pro to Bar Warrior), the upgrade takes effect immediately. Your new tier's features become available in real-time. Your billing will be adjusted on your next scheduled billing date. If you upgrade on day 15 of a 30-day billing cycle, for example, your next charge will reflect a pro-rated amount for the remaining 15 days at the new tier rate, and subsequent monthly charges will be at the full new tier rate.

Downgrades: If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan (e.g., from Bar Warrior to Student Pro), the downgrade becomes effective on the first day of your next billing cycle. You will continue to have full access to your current tier through the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the difference in price between the tiers for the current billing period. After your current billing period ends, you will be charged at the lower tier rate and will have access only to that tier's features.

Tier Changes and the 7-Day Guarantee: If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the action does not restart or extend the 7-day money-back guarantee window described in Section 4. The 7-day guarantee applies only to your initial subscription to a paid plan. Subsequent plan changes do not renew guarantee eligibility.

9. Billing Disputes

We strive for accuracy in all billing. However, if you believe you have been charged in error—whether due to a duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction, incorrect amount, or any other reason—please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card issuer.

Dispute Resolution Process: Email support@aqoryn.com with the subject line "Billing Dispute" and include:

Our billing team will investigate your claim and respond within five (5) to ten (10) business days. If we determine that a legitimate billing error occurred, we will immediately correct your account, issue a refund for any overcharge, or adjust future charges as appropriate. If the charge was accurate, we will provide a detailed explanation.

Chargebacks and Account Consequences: If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card issuer without first contacting Aqoryn, your account will be suspended pending investigation. Chargebacks are costly and time-intensive for small businesses. We ask that you give us the opportunity to resolve disputes directly. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be permanently terminated, and you may be liable for associated costs.
