DMCA Copyright Policy

Aqoryn, LLC ("Aqoryn") respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA"). This policy describes how copyright owners may notify us of alleged infringement and how affected users may respond with a counter-notification.

1. Aqoryn's Original Content

All practice questions, essay prompts, model answers, IRAC explanations, and Qendrixa study content on aqoryn.com are original works authored by Aqoryn, LLC. None of our content is reproduced from the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE), Barbri, Themis, Kaplan, Quimbee, AdaptiBar, UWorld, or any other third-party source. All legal citations reference publicly available primary sources (court opinions, statutes, Restatements, and regulations).

Note: Aqoryn intends to register a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office at copyright.gov pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2). Until that registration is complete, copyright notices should be directed to the email address above.

3. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on aqoryn.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our DMCA Agent containing all of the following (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — a description of the material that you claim is infringing and that you request be removed or disabled, with sufficient information to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL).
  3. Contact information — your address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Warning:Submitting a materially false DMCA takedown notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages, attorney's fees, and costs.

4. How to Submit a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled in error as a result of a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent. A valid counter-notification must contain all of the following (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or in the Northern District of California if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notice. If that party does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may reinstate the removed content.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Aqoryn maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate any user account, without notice, upon a second substantiated infringement notice.
